Our Vision

– The Educational eco-park will provide, educational and public service, along with providing filtered water, electrical power generate by river turbines and PV arrays within the park. ‘Giving back to the community’

– Bringing ‘life & energy’ back to the River Fergus

– The facilities will include an education center with library and cinema, outdoor cinemas and concert facilities, amenities for farmer markets and a high level walkways to enjoy the views of Ennis and the educational park below.

– The Heart of the project will be located at the Post office field where the final stages of the water filtration journey will take place. The post office field will become a ECO education park for all to enjoy, catering for both young and old.

– to enhance the water quality in Ennis by incorporating a natural water filtration process from Ballyalla lake to the centre of Ennis.

– Extending the heart of the town to the countryside along the bank of the river

– Creating a walk way from Ballyalla lake to Post office field along the banks of the river Fergus, acting as an ‘educational route’ informing the towns residence of each filtration stage while creating a tranquil country walk way.

Ennis, Co Clare, Ireland

We felt the site should be situated in an area which experience water quality concerns in the past but foremost an area which prides itself in its History & natural biodiversity, a New centre of technology & education, while also having a thirst for knowledge. A place that could to lead the way in biomimic applied architecture.
